The brief was straightforward and demanding in equal measure: create a supermarket hair care brand that women would actually want in their bathroom. Working with Coles and The Contenders, Sol Studio took Zena from naming strategy to production — developing the brand positioning, identity system, structural packaging design, and managing print through to shelf. The result was a nationally listed range that earned Gold at the Melbourne Design Awards 2022.
